Hello everyone! I’m Rudra Pratap Sharma, a final-year BPT student interested in space medicine, human physiology and human spaceflight research. I have participated as a crew commander in a lunar analog mission and have presented work related to space medicine at scientific conferences. I’m excited to learn from the OSDR community and contribute to projects involving astronaut health, physiology and space-life-science data. Looking forward to collaborating with everyone!
Welcome @skyrudrapratap
Sorry I couldnt get to your questions at the office hours this AM ![]()
Analog mission command plus physiotherapy training is a good combination for the astronaut health side of AWG activity R&D.
Your best fit is the new Spaceflight Epidemiology AWG. Reach out to @robert.j.reynolds-2 and @holquistkl to get involved and introduce yourself at the next monthly meeting. @Matthew_Murphy can also answer questions about the group and its projects.
While you get oriented, spend time in the data:
Data dashboard (at a glance): NASA OSDR Biological Data and Visualization Portal
Search portal: NASA OSDR: Open Science for Life in Space
Previous work: NASA OSDR-GeneLab Enabled Publications, Pre-Prints, Student Theses - Google Scholar
All quick links to data/tools/APIs, etc are here: About - Open Science Data Repository Analysis Working Groups
Pick a project from the master table and find the meeting on the calendar (log in first).
Cheers,
-Ryan
