Has anyone used the Data Package Standard and related tools? I am curious about feasibility of adopting these standards and tools in the scientific and research community to help enforce standards for data management plans, data submissions, and also transfer of data from the point of ETL across potentially air-gapped networks and to an enterprise data platform to facilitate linking metadata and schema info with raw data.

> Data Package is a standard consisting of a set of simple yet extensible specifications to describe datasets, data files and tabular data. It is a data definition language (DDL) and data API that facilitates findability, accessibility,...

@pmadrigal - might be useful for AI readiness?

How do I add multiple groups to this discussion? I thought I had added AIML AWG. Are there others that might be relevant?

Just [@AIMLawg](https://awg.osdr.space/groups/aimlawg) the key is to @ the groups listed on the hub: [Analysis Working Groups: Open Science for Life in Space](https://awg.osdr.space/g)

Say also [@MultiOmicsAWG](https://awg.osdr.space/groups/multiomicsawg) etc etc

Thanks for finding this, if something comes along to make all our data even more standrized, that sounds great

Allotrope is another similar data standard that looks useful, but I am not sure i it is open source or not.
