How to Be Involved: Attend Meetings, Table of Sub-Group Projects, Connect w/Leads for each AWG, & setup App to Chat. Have an idea on a different Project? Propose it 🙂🚀

  1. Attend meetings found in your ‘AWG Meeting Calendar’. Meetings not showing up? Make sure you belong to that AWG by checking the Group Member Hub (and requesting to join other AWGs if you like).

  2. Search for Projects (which also are organized in table below) which might interest you, or which you may have skills/expertise to contribute.

  3. Make sure to reach out the Leads, Coordinators, and Sub-Group Leads to make sure you are included in the analysis of data, the writing of papers, the various meetings. You can see everyone in the table below.

  4. You can ‘Direct Message/Chat’ all of them here in this Forum-Space platform using this

    Function (top right corner)

  5. See something missing, or a project you wish existed? Start a group/subgroup and help lead it! Contact @rtscott2001 to help get that underway

Thank you very much for this great recap!
We’ll integrate Multi-Omics subgroups in the next days.

That would be great. Just want to get maximal number of people involved and given opportunity to join/contribute, cheers

Hi Ryan and Jessica there is a PD subgroup which Nilufer is leading and a SANS subgroup which Ethan is leading

Awesome. That’s multi-omics AWG for both then? I know there also is one Andrea Camera is leading on Frailty aging

Multi Omics AWG for both and yes Andrea’s group too

Thank you very much for this comprehensive list of members and their affiliations! I was wondering if Andrea Camara or their subgroup has a page? My research interests lie in the link between cellular senescence and spaceflight, so I would love to get the opportunity to be involved in their meetings and contribute to data analysis!

They aren’t on the forum yet. Andrea is great, and first authored this recent AWG pub: Aging and putative frailty biomarkers are altered by spaceflight | Scientific Reports

Which was part of the Nature Portfolio package in June: https://www.nature.com/immersive/d42859-024-00009-8/index.html

Of note, about 150 AWG haven’t joined the forum yet. Mostly due to we realize this is a very new platform, and in general #OpenScience itself is advancing fast

Cheers and thanks for your interest Himath

Thank you for linking their article, just from the initial look I had it is very fascinating!
Completely understand the difficulties arising from this being a new platform, but nonetheless, excited to contribute to research in other fields too!
