Hi everyone, I’m Mark Johnson from Georgia. I run Rowset, a one-person company, and I joined the AI/ML and Plant groups this month as a citizen scientist, though I should say up front that I’m not a space scientist.

Most of what I build is data and analysis tools, and I try to make every check able to fail. Recently that meant hiding the right answer from my own image analysis code. Its confidence read 0.998 the whole time. Every measurement was about 2% off, and nothing else had caught it.
On the plant side my background is food and flavor measurement.

I’d like to help wherever someone needs analysis code tested against a known answer. Glad to be here.
