[@AWGall](https://awg.osdr.space/groups/awgall) Look up tonight, Friday, July 17!

The crescent Moon, Venus, and Regulus gather in the western sky this evening. Look west 30 to 60 minutes after your local sunset: Venus shines brightest, the thin crescent Moon sits just to its left, and Regulus anchors the trio below. Should be beautiful over beaches, towns, mountains, plains, or cities. 😊

Bonus perspective: Regulus is 79 light years away, so the light you see tonight left the star in 1947.

No equipment needed. If you snap a photo, drop it in the thread! Attached: simulated view around 8:50 PM local time.

Will you be watching?

🌙 Absolutely
