Hi all,

Pleased to share that [NASA Citizen Science](https://science.nasa.gov/citizen-science/) selected one of the [@MicrobesAWG](https://awg.osdr.space/groups/microbesawg) publications for one of their ‘Unsung Heroes’ stories!

**Here it is:** [This Thanksgiving, We’re Grateful for NASA’s Volunteer Scientists! - NASA Science](https://science.nasa.gov/get-involved/citizen-science/this-thanksgiving-were-grateful-for-nasas-amateur-scientists/)

My only wish was that when I submitted a highlight to them for consideration, that I had added all authors! I will do better next time 😊

It’s great to have the Microbes AWG and microbes paper DOI links in that setting of NASA Citizen Science 🎉

Kudos @daniela.bezdan @emmanuel.gonzalez @AstrobioMike @laura.beckett1 @Fathi @dr.richard.barker @rachel.a.jansen @stefan_green @jkelliher @nitinks @nicholas.brereton and ALL other authors. Cheers!

Thanks, @rtscott2001! This is a fantastic spotlight for the Microbes AWG and a great way to showcase the collaborative effort behind the paper. Really appreciate you pushing this forward and giving it visibility. Cheers to the whole team!
