# Seeking postdoctoral role in spaceflight immunology modelling

Hello AWG members,

I’m Anirudh Murali, a Senior Research Fellow at CSIR - National Chemical Laboratory, India, where I’ve spent the last six years developing computational models of immune-cell mechanics under altered gravity. I have officially submitted my thesis, **“Mathematical Modelling and In Silico Simulation of the Immune System under Microgravity,”** plan to defend in September/ October 2025.

My work includes:

- Multi-scale modelling of red and white blood cell deformation in microgravity.
- Development of MechSigFlow for T-cell signalling network analysis.
- Integration of fluid–structure interaction with biochemical signalling pathways.

I am now actively seeking postdoctoral opportunities to extend these tools in microgravity research programs. I am particularly interested in:

- Spaceflight immunology and astronaut health.
- Biofluid dynamics simulation for blood and lymphatic systems.
- Network-based predictive modelling of immune dysregulation.

For your review, I have attached:

2. Thesis abstract summarizing key findings and methodological advancements.
