Ivelina

PhD Candidate in Marketing at the University of Economics in Varna, Bulgaria. I am a member of the Management Committee for COST action 23118 Futures-oriented Governance of Outer Space: Towards Peace, Equity, and Environmental Integrity (FOGOS).

My background is in marketing, innovation strategy, and sustainability, with a focus on genetic marketing - genetic data applications in business and the space economy. I have experience in EU-funded projects, interdisciplinary research, and regulatory frameworks, which could be valuable for the network.

I’ve recently developed a framework for Astronaut Genetic Persona Mapping, exploring how genetic data can inform personalized products for space missions. I examine the role of genetics in mitigating spaceflight risks and advancing commercialization in space tourism and healthcare. My thesis is focused on how genetic predispositions and behavioral genetics influence consumer behavior.

Additionally, I’m exploring the benefits of arts to space exploration and innovation.
