I am Suryansh Singh Yadav, a Biotechnology undergraduate at Kanpur Institute of Technology, affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), currently pursuing my B.Tech in Biotechnology. My academic and research interests lie at the intersection of biotechnology, bioinformatics, computational biology, and artificial intelligence, with a growing focus on genomics, drug discovery, cancer research, and space biology.

I am developing expertise in bioinformatics and computational approaches for biological research, with experience in Python, Biopython, NCBI resources, BLAST, FASTA-based sequence analysis, and next-generation sequencing (NGS). I am particularly interested in applying computational methods and AI-driven approaches to understand biological systems, analyze genomic data, and support the development of innovative solutions in healthcare and biomedical research.

As part of my technical and research development, I am building BioForge, a Python-based bioinformatics toolkit designed to integrate biological sequence analysis and computational workflows into a unified platform. Through this work, I am exploring scientific software development and the application of programming to practical bioinformatics problems.

I have also gained interdisciplinary experience through internships in both industrial and computational research environments. I completed an internship at HUL Pvt. Ltd. focused on soap manufacturing and detergent processes, and a bioinformatics internship at IIIT Una involving the analysis of human insulin. I am also involved in research work contributing to a manuscript.

My long-term goal is to pursue research in bioinformatics, genomics, computational biology, and drug discovery, with a particular interest in leveraging artificial intelligence for healthcare and biomedical applications. I am also deeply interested in the emerging field of space biology and aspire to contribute to research exploring how biological systems respond to the unique challenges of spaceflight and extraterrestrial environments.

I am passionate about interdisciplinary research that brings together biotechnology, computational science, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies to address complex challenges in human health, genomics, and space biology.
