I am part of the NASA Ames GeneLab Sample Proscessing Lab. My work experience focuses on biochemistry and next generation sequencing. I’ve spent my time working for NASA generating omics data related to spaceflight studies as well as working in industry at the high throughput NGS provider SeqMatic. Both positions allowed me to work with a wide variety of sample types and kits, giving me knowledge that I apply to my current role.

NGS touches on many different fields letting me gain experience in cell biology, histopathology, tissue dissection, proteomics, and many others.
