Computational Biologist & Bioinformatics Analyst | Genomics, Single-Cell Analysis & Computational Research

I’m a computational biologist and bioinformatics analyst based in Türkiye, with experience in genomics, next-generation sequencing (NGS), single-cell and bulk RNA-seq, structural bioinformatics, statistical modeling, and reproducible scientific computing.

My work spans genomic data processing, cell-type annotation, differential gene expression, functional enrichment, protein structure analysis, and molecular docking. I have experience developing computational workflows using Python, R, Linux, and Git, with tools including Scanpy, Seurat, Bioconductor, DESeq2, Biopython, and AutoDock Vina.

I am particularly interested in rigorous statistical approaches to biological data, including linear mixed-effects modeling, batch-effect correction, multiple-testing correction, and sensitivity analysis.

Through independent research and international bioinformatics consulting, I have worked on single-cell transcriptomic re-analysis, genomic sequence processing, statistical inference, and reproducible research projects.

As a member of the OSDR Brain Analysis Working Group (Brain AWG), I’m excited to explore the molecular effects of spaceflight on the nervous system, particularly in relation to neurodegeneration, brain aging, and cellular stress responses.

I welcome interdisciplinary collaborations involving computational biology, omics data analysis, and open, reproducible science.
