Hello fellow thinkers and doers. My name is Maya Roseboro, and I am based in Wilmington, North Carolina at the University of North Carolina Wilmington as a rising senior in early college. I have a research background in machine learning, image classification, bioinformatics, computational biology, proteomics, and SEM microscopy as a culmination of my work in the Wang Lab (UNCW), the RMD Bioimaging Facility & Taylor Lab (UNCW), and Ethical Data Science Research Group (UNCC). My career goals orbit around leveraging biomedical engineering to make space travel safer. In addition to seeking a degree in biomedical engineering, I hope to explore drug development and the impact of space travel on the brain.
