Join us for a seminar highlighting the integration of European Space Agency (ESA) omics data into the NASA Open Science Data Repository (OSDR). This session will outline ESA’s archival workflow for scientific investigations, describe data curation practices within OSDR, and highlight OSDR’s standardized approach to processing and disseminating omics datasets.
The seminar will begin with an overview of space omics and exploration science at ESA, followed by a summary of space exploration research within NASA’s Biological and Physical Sciences Division (BPS). Participants will learn about data resources available through the Human and Robotic Exploration Data Archive (HREDA) and gain further insight into OSDR’s capabilities. The session will also cover the processing and curation of ESA datasets within OSDR and conclude with a presentation on OSDR’s Analysis Working Groups (AWGs), including opportunities for engagement and collaboration.
