New paper by Harrison and Julie Howe’s lab. This beautiful work explores using regolith as a nutrient source and plant growth substrate for off-world agriculture. It investigates how aeroponic biowaste streams—containing plant root efflux and inorganic nutrients—can accelerate regolith weathering and improve extraterrestrial soil. Harrison participated on the Human-Plant AWG collaboration. Great work
