This is a call for AWG members to submit an abstract
for a chance to give a talk at the AWG Annual Meeting, 9/25, 8a-3p PT. The overarching theme of the meeting is “Moon to Mars: Advancing Research, Operations, and Countermeasures”. We invite all AWG members to submit an abstract that showcases active and recently completed AWG projects emphasizing:
- Integration of space biological and space health research using AI, machine learning, and multi-omics approaches.
- R&D through mining life science datasets for operational and life support needs for deep space missions.
- How cross-species analysis enhances our understanding of space-related biological phenomena.
- Applications of personalized, predictive, preventive space medicine for long duration, lunar, Martian missions.
The 2025 Annual Meeting will feature: keynote speakers, lightning talks from all AWG Chairs, a panel of AWG success stories (from long-standing and newer members. 6 submitted abstracts will be selected for meeting-wide talks during the primary science session. Abstracts appropriate for this AWG annual meeting, but not selected for a talk, will be invited to present their work during a breakout “poster” session. Abstracts only on topic to our domain and activity will be considered. Explore the draft flyer-agenda.
