LCPC Transform reveals hidden differences in rib shapes of males vs females in chest X-rays

Hi all,

One of my interns just completed her senior (high school) thesis on finding differences between male vs female rib morphology in chest X-rays.

This is relevant to the recent HBISS talk on SpaceXray data

The data in this project – which is still ongoing b/c another intern will take over – will be a useful baseline to measure future chest X-rays from space missions, even for small sample sizes. This presentation only discusses a small fraction of the data.
