Look west 30 to 60 minutes after your local sunset: Venus shines brightest, the thin crescent Moon sits just to its left, and Regulus anchors the trio below. Should be beautiful over beaches, towns, mountains, plains, or cities. ![]()
Bonus perspective: Regulus is 79 light years away, so the light you see tonight left the star in 1947.
