Hi All, please pass this NASA public prize competition for the new Deep Space Food Challenge along! Feel free to email or dm me if you have any questions.
Additional Info:
Following the success of NASA’s Deep Space Food Challenge Series, which engaged 300+ teams from 30+ countries, one thing became clear: while individual space food technologies have advanced rapidly, future missions demand fully integrated food systems that deliver nutrition, reliability, and resilience far from Earth.
Introducing Mars To Table
Multidisciplinary teams are invited to design complete, nutritionally sufficient food systems for a Mars surface habitat. Over approximately seven months, teams will develop integrated, data-supported concepts that reimagine how crews are fed during long-duration planetary missions, focusing on solutions that:
-
Deliver 100% of astronauts’ daily nutritional needs
-
Function as integrated systems
-
Maximize resilience with minimal inputs
All details and requirements can be found on our Mars To Table website.
