Hi,
I am interested in developing ML/AI and statistical approaches for analyzing multi-omics datasets. I am also open to contributing to developing ML or statistical models for causal inference.
If causal inference is of interest, you may want to chat with @robert.j.reynolds-2
There is a seperate thread i’ll tag you on
Sudip, on causal inference using AIML, i’d also like to introduce you to @james.casaletto who lead this pre-print: Casaletto et al. Analyzing the Relationship Between Gene Expression and Phenotype in Space-Flown Mice Using a Causal Inference Machine Learning Ensemble | Research Square
Hi @rtscott2001 thanks a lot.
Hi @james.casaletto, I have gone through the pre-print. It is very interesting, and I can relate the content to my previous experience. I would be more than happy to know more and get an opportunity to contribute.
Hi Sudip
Thank you for your interest. Right now the paper is in review, and we’re keeping our fingers crossed. We have a causal inference sub-group in the AI/ML AWG. We’d be very happy if you join us. Jian Gong (@jgong) is leading that effort – please message him if you’d like to attend our next meeting.
cheers
-james
Hi @james.casaletto,Thanks.
When is the next Causal Inference sub-group meeting? @jgong @james.casaletto I believe Sunny is leading? @anarayan09
Planning our next meeting to be mid-July
Hi, if this relates to Multi-Omic analysis tools such as DIABLO, please add me to the group. Thanks.
Best,
Anu
