Just wanted to share the very exciting news that The Selenic Harvest placed top 3 for the PromoMoon event hosted by the Moon Village Association.
This would not have been possible without the great work of the members of the Regolith subgroup (now group), but specially without Harmeet Singh, which took the project to reach the starts

The Selenic Harvest is a forthcoming reference book that came out of the Lunar Regolith AWG on engineering agriculture for permanent lunar settlement. It covers crop selection, controlled-environment design, regolith and BLiSS integration, water and atmosphere closure, and the robotics and systems work needed to tie it all together, as well as radiation concerns, economic analysis and much more. Springer is looking at it for their Space Technology Library.
PromoMoon is MVA’s annual lunar-tech competition, run with Yuzhnoye State Design Office. It calls for concepts and projects that advance a permanent human presence on the Moon, with an expert panel selecting the strongest ones and helping mature them. It’s the technology-incubation side of MVA’s work, separate from their policy stuff.
There are 3 winners. Top 3 gets us a year of free B2B consulting with the firm’s lunar-tech experts, plus co-authorship on a paper presented at IAC 2026. Hopefully, the new Lunar Regolith AWG is able to put some of this to good use!
