@angel That’s precisely what we’re looking to do - use the canvas API to download assignments, use scripts to grade them, and then use a certifier API (e.g. certifier.io) to issue the cert. Thank you for your offer to help here. We’re meeting soon to discuss our options.
In order to get a certificate:
- all 4 quizzes must be taken and passed with a 70% grade or higher
- all 4 notebooks must be completed and submitted to canvas
- all 12 lecture videos must be watched in their entirety.
Once all 3 of the above are completed, then we issue a certificate of completion.
cheers and happy (machine) learning!
-James
Thank you @james.casaletto for the clarification.
Happy learning to us all!
Thanks. I completed and passed it all but still the certificate is not visible to me. I am not sure what is wrong
The certificates are currently being issued manually once per week (generally on Friday). So for example, if you just submitted your last notebook on December 10, you could expect to get a certificate on Friday December 13 at the earliest.
hopefully thank you
Hey James, are the certs still being issued every Friday manually? I completed my course sometime in the past week and a half
Hi Nathan
Thank you for letting me know. Your cert should be arriving soon if it hasn’t already.
cheers
