My students and I use it in my lab regularly when we calibrate our PiHQ cameras for new experiments.
Iāve got one on my water bottle and use it in the field for iNaturalist and all our images that the Danforth Center has been analyzing. Those are on plant traits in the field (PlantCV). I havenāt had the opportunity to use it on space stuff yet. Also I ran out of them so glad to order more!
Looks like they are out of stock already @botanynerd !
Iām in the process of having a new batch printed

They can now me purchased here, i really like the magnetic version Dr Richard Barker stickers, magnets | Sticker Mule
I think I may have to get a couple of these, just because
Very cool @dr.richard.barker
Oh man I wish I saw this thread sooner!
If any of you are familiar with the python package PlantCV, the version 5 release will include native support for color and size calibration using these stickers, and this feature should be available (in a pre-release state from the packageās github) possibly sometime next week. Weāve also been doing some work to analyze color stability/bleaching/batch effects of these in comparison to Macbeth Charts, and are developing some metrics to assess color card quality. Weāre planning on having a poster at ASGSR this year with some of these results!
What do you mean, they can now me purchased here??? I donāt understand what youāre saying here. Thank you! Itās an honor to be here.
We developed the ABC design to help people integrate computer vision guides into their experimental design more easily. It also makes it easier to share image analysis software such as the SOAPP pipelineā¦
Iām excited to see everyone getting good use from the stickers! Thereās a web tool for working with them in a low-throughput way here, which is great for double-checking that they are being recognized and to show what can be done with them. Excited to have the more integrated use for them with the official release of SOAPP.
@nmiklave Great to here they are being incorporated into the official PlantCV releases! Looking forward to trying it out.
I had a request for a āmetal rulerā version for field trials.
link to a magnet 10cm ruler that can be used for insitu colour normalisation
but are the computer vision QR codes essential for your purpose?
