AWG/SME Feedback requested on basic plant growth assay template

Requesting feedback on a basic assay template for generalized plant primary growth. We hope to include enough columns (parameters) to sufficiently characterize the protocol used to assess plant growth and health at multiple time points. As always, the goal is that if someone populated all values in the template another person would be able to repeat that assay exactly. Please let me know if you have any questions! Feel free to provide feedback directly in the google sheet or in comments to this post

Chlorophyll measurements are useful to note and I didn’t expect that to be includef here. Nice to see it grouped in with this assay. There are Anthocyanin meters that are just as easy to use, that are often used at the same time. The ACM-200 instrument from Opti-sciences is one of them. ACM-200

That’s a great point! I suppose I have put myself on to a bit of a slippery slope with the cholorphyll content… Similar to chlorophyll content Anthocyanin content is of course not a direct measure of plant growth, but it can be an indicator of physiological responses that relate to growth (as you know, just summarizing for anyone else reading this). We could remove chlorophyll content, or consider adding a wider range of general plant health assessment metrics and expand the scope of the assay a bit. Thank you for the food for thought!
