Today @katherine.j.baxter joined me to speak to an University of Houston Media Relations person to discuss the review “Biofilms: from the cradle of life to life support” (npj Biofilms & Microbiomes, 2026). The discussion highlighted how the AWG–OSDR framework supports international collaboration and open data analysis to advance understanding of microbial biofilms under spaceflight-relevant conditions. An article will be published on University of Houston media platforms in the coming days.
