Data Package Standard

Has anyone used the Data Package Standard and related tools? I am curious about feasibility of adopting these standards and tools in the scientific and research community to help enforce standards for data management plans, data submissions, and also transfer of data from the point of ETL across potentially air-gapped networks and to an enterprise data platform to facilitate linking metadata and schema info with raw data.

@pmadrigal - might be useful for AI readiness?

How do I add multiple groups to this discussion? I thought I had added AIML AWG. Are there others that might be relevant?
