Was reminded about this article by Isaac Asimov this morning, thought AWG members should know of it.
The focus is on where new ideas come from, and how creativity for discovery comes about.
I was reminded reflecting how the plant-nutrition-gut-human sub-group came about and synthesized evidence. Open science for the win

I really enjoy and agree with that concept…
- You need both the individual effort - unfettered by others opinions, or social critiques, to be free exploratory, and “out there” thinking
AND
- You need that collaborative environment - you know something A, I know something B, and together we can come up with something idea C - which otherwise would not have occurred to either independently

I’ve certainly experienced the results of it with this group. Lots of great ideas that are being implemented into HIBERIA | kostioukhina
And absolutely true that it is a combination of individual introspection and that sharing of the ideas for colleagues to comment their perspective. The combined value of introvert and extrovert processes of solving problems.

HIBERIA is an open-science platform designed to unify global efforts in human hibernation research by integrating knowledge, promoting collaboration, and accelerating innovation. It is built on three key pillars:
-A structured, accessible textbook that consolidates multidisciplinary research to support deep understanding.
-An AI-powered chatbot that provides evidence-based, interactive access to curated knowledge.
-A collaborative digital platform, inspired by NASA’s open science initiatives, that connects researchers worldwide to foster collective progress.
HIBERIA emphasizes that while AI aids in processing information, true scientific breakthroughs still depend on human cognition and understanding.
I personally love the “ignited” project.
Kudos to Ekaterina and the whole team
