Microgravity analogue literature review

Yeah, what I was trying to say… If there is a way to reduce the size of the Full CSV file with 16,485 papers, by excluding the medical related papers, like using codes or AI… I think if we could find some way to exclude these, this 16,485 list would be much more shorter, and can save a lot of time. Then we can review the false positives or relevant papers from the shortened pool.

69% of the task… not too bad…

Changing this whole thread to be it’s own project (instead of topic)

Hi Richard, hi all (sorry I was travelling just saw an email on this). Flying over the conversation here sounds sounds very familiar to transformers I trained on classifying RCTs (Randomised Clinical Trials) of medical articles. We pulled all of pubmed for this 37Mil papers etc. Just depends on what you are looking for. In our case we then created Trialstreamer a living annotated database which finds and summarises new trial publications, registrations, and preprints (you can try that here https://trialstreamer.ieai.robotreviewer.net/). Happy to help and/or chat (still travelling atm)

This sounds like a perfect task for ChatGPT

Great! I will check your github this weekend, I used transformers too. I tried the demo but I can’t find any information about these topics (microgravity analogues), but maybe you can do that easily.

Yes, you can pay for the requests with the API.

The task is already 100% complete. If you have an account, you can change the status directly in the search engine:

If you don’t have an account, you can send me a private message. Additionally, in your account, you can also download the fully labeled database.

Hiya
Thanks for expressing interest in this topic. I am currently searching for someone to lead a subgroup on this topic. Please let myself and Ryan @rtscott2001 know if you are interest so we can help get this group off to a flying start.

I would definitely be interested in this project. And I don’t mind reading full papers & articles either.

@dr.richard.barker what is the status with this project?

I realize the nutrition subgroup and regolith subgroup were taking most the time and focus…

Unsure where this one stands? I don’t think it came up at recent @PlantAWG mtgs either

Thanks for your interest @NikkHarvey :tada::rocket:

As regards the microgravity analogue, there is already a course of action going on to proceed on the project. @dr.richard.barker is aware and included in the conversation. You will be included in the conversation as well. But I believe in a couple of weeks from now, work will start on it again.

Hello, my name is Gaston Dana, also GasMan.
My specialties are programming mainly Python, some Java, and a sprinkle of JS. I’m in my 8th year working with Python specifically with projects, personal projects, and events as well. I attended the American Public University System, where I not only improved my academia but I also improved my ability to remote work properly & effectively. I actually prefer remote work now.
I’m open to getting more comfortable here and with this group.
Do reach out to me, and I’ll see where I can plug in my efforts properly.
Thx!

Hi Richard, is this still going on?

Yes indeed! The new project lead and communications chair will be announcing a plan of action and series of meetings that will allow us all too collaborate on reviewing the current state of the art of microgravity analogue research. Thanks for expressing your interest and being patient. to be continued…

We had a detailed conversation about the standardization of simulated microgravity etc thus I was curious
