Hello everyone @MicrobesAWG!
I am Franco A. Pavan, a Master’s student in Biology at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina 
. I have research experience in fields such as histology, virology and microbiology.
I am currently doing my thesis on lactic acid bacteria and their response to environmental stress, and how that affects their use as a non-GMO carrier for surface-displayed proteins in an innovative surface-display platform with many applications such as oral vaccines.
I also have some experience with data analysis in R and Python and have already enrolled in the GL4U course so that I can help as much as possible from the beginning!
One of my passions is science communication! I have participated in many public events teaching children and adults about topics such as evolution, microbiology and biotechnology.
