New Multi-Study Visualization Dashboard Beta available

Hi all, excited to share with you that the beta of a redesigned dashboard for the Multi-Study Visualization app is now available online:
https://visualization.genelab.nasa.gov/data/dashboard/beta/

We hope that it will make it faster and more intuitive to navigate and search among OSDR datasets and run meta-analyses and visualizations – but you be the judge(s)!

We would really appreciate it if you could run it through its paces, see what makes sense and what doesn’t, whether everything works as expected (and whether what’s happening matches your expectations to begin with, etc).

Please let us know – you can leave your feedback in the comments in this thread or message me privately. Thank you!!

P.S. By default, the dashboard shows all / most of the datasets in OSDR. If you want to narrow it down to just the ones that have transcriptomics data and can be visualized, just about the first thing you’ll want to do is to tick the checkbox “Only show datasets with processed data” above the bar charts.

Woohoo indeed. Outside what is provided via the API, I forsee this new revamped Viz portal in effect being the new “search portal” to most easily find OSDR/GL datasets

This is amazing. Thank you so much! The data is so much more accessable now and it’s easy to take a quick look without running any code!
