Spaceflight Epidemiology AWG Meeting Today at 11 AM ET
The next Spaceflight Epidemiology Analysis Working Group meeting is today at 11:00 AM ET.
This AWG is developed in collaboration with OSMED and the Open Science Data Repository Analysis Working Group community. The group brings together open science, human spaceflight research, epidemiology, biomedical data and space medicine to explore how the hazards of spaceflight affect human health, performance, adaptation and long-term capability.
This meeting is open to researchers, clinicians, students, engineers, data scientists, citizen scientists, space health professionals and anyone interested in the future of human health in space. You do not need to be an expert in space medicine or epidemiology to attend.
Topics may include astronaut health, physiological adaptation to microgravity, human system risks, open datasets, data curation, biomedical research, clinical translation, artificial intelligence, machine learning and active research opportunities within the group.
