This is a notice-release from the NASA Human Research Program. I know know more than sharing this message with you all:
Dear Colleague, @AWGall
The abstract submission tool for the 2027 NASA Human Research Program Investigators’ Workshop (HRP IWS) is now open to accept submissions. The 2027 HRP IWS will be held at the Galveston Island Convention Center, in Galveston, Texas from Wednesday, January 20 through Friday, January 22, 2027. The deadline for abstract submission is September 1, 2026, 11:59 PM ET.
The presenting author must be the one to submit the abstract. All future communications regarding the abstract and assigned presentation will be sent only to the abstract submitter.
To submit your abstract, please click on this link: abstract submittal.
We are using a previous abstract submission tool for the 2027 HRP IWS (Cadmium). If you submitted an abstract for the 2026 IWS, you can use the same email/password (reset password from the login screen if forgotten/expired). If you are new, please create an account at your first entry into the tool.
The abstract template may be found by clicking on this link: abstract template.
You will be notified of abstract acceptance and the type of presentation you may be giving (oral vs. poster) in early November. All presenters will be required to upload presentation content in advance of the workshop (oral: presentation slides, poster: PDF). Details on presentation materials will be distributed with your presenter notification in early November.
Participation in the poster competition is open to only undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows. Entry requires the submission of a recorded lightning talk, which is due January 15, 2027. Complete submission guidelines and further details will be available in early November.
After you submit, you will receive a confirmation email from our abstract tool vendor Cadmium (noreply@goCadmium.com). This message could go to junk/spam/quarantine folders. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us at JSC-HRP-IWS@mail.nasa.gov.
Abstract submission does not register you for the workshop. The HRP IWS registration and website will open in mid-August, with details distributed via email.
Regards,
HRP IWS Steering Committee
