Hi, I don’t seem to be able to see the meetings in the calendar anymore- is it a me thing or is anyone else having similar problems? I’m currently logged in but my calendar is clear.
Same here… It’s since last month, when I joined and talked about this. I found the meeting links on the google calendar, but here the calendar is clear.
@katherine.j.baxter @Mustare_Madobe - I need to change (and figure out) the settings. There seems to be a disconnect as calendar “event” is sent out as a message, but then depending or not if someone accepts, it may not show up on the calendar. Trying to balance not making all the meeting links open access, with making sure calenadars work for all members who need to have them. Growth pangs with a new awesome, but VERY configurable platform
mine has always been totally blank.
Cannot access to for some meetings too
I have the same issue. Thanks
Hi all. Thanks for letting us know about the issue with the Meeting Calendar. It seems to be driven by invites only available to those who are invited, which is through messages within this app. Which means unless you recieved the message invite, and accepted the message invite, it will not show up. Of course this also depends on which AWG you have ‘joined’ within this platform.
Long story, but I/we don’t have a solution yet. I do know this feature here is a Plugin, and requires a bit of sluething to come up a solution for our community.
Thank you Ryan for sharing.
Looking forward to a solution for our community
If anyone has ideas, that may know this platform better, I’m open to chatting about solutions @AnuragSakharkar ?
Looking into it now. From what I can tell, syncing to a Google calendar isn’t possible so we might have to create all the events/meetings on here again, but that comes with tons of other issues regarding syncing and making sure everything’s updated. I’ll DM you some ideas for testing, Ryan @rtscott2001
Maybe I can fix your platform or even develop something, I remember that the calendar was working well, whats the problem?
All AWG meetings (monthly and otherwise, sub-groups) need to viewable for all AWG members, BUT not open access so that general public has access, which would open them up to Zoom bombs, etc
Each AWG lead would also need to provide the specific meetings links (Zoom, Teams, WebEx, etc) @AnuragSakharkar @angel
Really appreciate your insight, effort, and time
This is an alternative approach, I can generate this kind of format in my server to paste in the forum in a private category/group/pubication administrated by selected members or I can develop an integration with Discourse to validate the credentials in my server and use the calendar direct in my server, is the same effort for me, I can change the design and data, but in the case of copy paste the format is limited, in my server you can do whatever you want.

@katherine.j.baxter @Mustare_Madobe @sigrid.reinsch @philippefunk @atsimber @jessicadurbano - I believe we now have a solution.
The AWG meetings should now be showing for all AWG members who are part of each AWG. For example, if I am in the Plant AWG, I will be seeing the Plant AWG meetings (but, eg would not be seeing the ALSDA AWG meetings)
SUPER thanks to @AnuragSakharkar & @angel for helping sleuth and drill down to the crux of the issue.
Our meetings are not visible to the public.
The key is to create an “event” to make this work (new topic → settings wheel → create an event)
When EVENTS are created please categorize them appropriately per AWG category
Thank you very much for this update!
And super thanks again to @AnuragSakharkar and @angel for helping out.
Glad to help! Please let one of us know if it’s still not working or there’s any other issues we can help with. Still working on figuring out the recurring meetings now, as it’s not a native function within the calendar.
