Thank you for creating this document. I have added a couple of helpful papers and will continue to search for more! Just out of curiosity, what do you think is the general timeline for this project?

Thanks @devshree for adding those useful papers—I especially liked the ones related to XAI, as it’s a critical aspect of decision support systems in complex health scenarios!

I believe a clear goal would be 4–6 months for a preprint paper, and 8–10 months for a submission-ready peer-reviewed paper. I think each subsequent paper will take significantly less time after the first few. Once we start sharing ideas and our subgroup becomes more established on the topic of CDSS in space health, we can then apply for grants and contribute to larger, real-world problems and projects—which could happen toward the end of the first year.

BTW , solving real-world problems and using cutting-edge technology to address the most important health challenges is the main goal. The journey is creative and fun—let’s enjoy it

Announcement: Looking for Team Members for Data Collection in CDSS Prototype

Dear team @AIMLawg

I am looking for volunteers to help in one very important early step of our project, which is data collection and dataset structuring for our CDSS prototype for space-health scenarios.

For this stage, the objective is only focused on the Inspiration4 dataset.

The main goal is to collect, clean, organize, and reframe the Inspiration4 dataset in a way that it can become useful as input for AI and also for the next development steps of the CDSS.

This is a very important step in the whole process of developing and later deploying a CDSS for space-health applications. The people who help in this part will have a real and important effect on the next stages of the project, especially in defining the data pipeline, prototype logic, and later validation work.

Expected tasks / requirements:

• Help with data collection, cleaning, labeling, and restructuring

• Review Inspiration4-related variables and identify what can be useful for CDSS input

• Basic skills in Excel, CSV handling, Python, Agents, or general data organization are helpful
