Thought this might be interesting to some of you: my brother (Tim Lantin, BME Ph.D. candidate, Columbia University) just participated in the Claude Science hackathon to see how science workflows could be assisted by Claude Science! He used some OSDR datasets in his work; check out his submission “From Orbit to the Medicine Cabinet: A Cross-Mission Signature of Spaceflight Aging Nominates Geroprotective Countermeasures” here!
If you’ve used them, curious to know your thoughts on Claude Science and other LLM-based tools tuned for scientific research (FutureHouse/Edison Scientific models, Biomni, Arc Institute’s Evo 2, etc.)

Was finally able to make time to watch this @slantin . Very, very cool stuff. I’d like to possibly apply to look at microbial elements in plant spaceflight responses. Would love to learn more beyond the 3m version for the initial elements laid out to Claude CLI and processing of data (once datasets ID). That backside of Claude exploring suggested drugs to counter the aging elements was next level. Thanks for sharing.
