Some exciting news for the hackathon! :rocket: :rocket:

The scientific University or institution for which the coordinator of a proposal is enrolled must be located in one of the ESA member or associated member states. However, for co-applicants this rule doesn’t apply.
So teams can have students from non-ESA member as long as the coordinator is a Master or PhD student from ESA member. Not nationality but a student.
Please check citizens of countries mentioned on this NASA published list they are not able to participate in the Hackathon.

Yes, co-applicants from US institutions are welcome to participate, as long as they have the main applicant from an ESA member state.

Thanks for your reply. I have been interested in this hackathon and shared it with a group where members were from EU but I was left on read. Will look out for more opportunities like this in the future.

@rtscott2001 This is also the conference and group I mentioned last meeting, the Advanced Concepts and Biomimic Group from ESA. At CSA/ASC Advanced Concepts it’s leaded by my colleague Christian Lange
