I’m a third-year student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science virtually, as well as a technical degree in Data Science and AI. Unlike others, I am currently studying, but my passion for contributing and being part of major projects is what excites me the most. I’m eager to gain the best experiences from this, and I will give my best to make a meaningful contribution, especially since it’s my first time and I’m really happy to be part of it!
I’m interested in the use and creation of AI and data analysis for space science.
Hello Everyone,
My name is Daniya, and I work as an AI trainer. I hold a doctorate in Environmental Science, where my research focused on carbon sequestration from vehicular flue gas using native microalgae. Looking ahead, I’m passionate about applying artificial intelligence in the agricultural sector to help predict crop growth and enhance sustainability.
Beyond that, I enjoy designing methodologies and interpreting data, and I have a deep love for both research and teaching. I’m incredibly excited to be part of a NASA program. NASA has been my dream organization for as long as I can remember. As a child, it was the only name I associated with space and science, and I never imagined I’d one day be involved in one of its programs.
Thank you for creating opportunities like this that are accessible to people around the world.
Hi @daniya.ses absolutely would love to see your contributions in the AIML AWG
Their next mtg is Tues 2/13, at that mtg, consider preparing a single slide with your interests/background/expertise.. Also if you have any ideas on projects and data to mine from OSDR
Currently working as Senior Advisor Quality and Risk in community based health care. Extensive experience in clinical governance, compliance, risk management and systems improvement. Qualifications in Psychology, Nursing, Computer Science, Education and Administration Particular interest in (especially now recovering from 2 recent experiences with my own cancer) onset and improvement, and the relationship between functional frailty, mind-set and Life-Space Mobility. Uncertain at this point how I can best be of assistance however I do find the idea of something like a Mars life space readiness scale to assess astronaut mobility and independence across mission critical zones prior landing and then after landing, landing exciting. (That’s a long sentence sorry)
Hello, my name is Lorennis Reyes, I’m Dominican and a final-year Data Science student. I am passionate about science and its branches, which has fueled a deep desire since childhood for space exploration and becoming an astronaut. My immense curiosity and strong belief in science and technology as tools to solve problems have led me to focus on climate change, remote sensing, data processing, and space applications. I enjoy science communication and being involved in everything that brings me closer to my goal.
An undergraduate Biotechnology(Hons) student, currently in my 2nd yr.
Unlike many experienced members here, I’m still early in my journey.
But I truly want to start building from now, step by step, toward something meaningful in space biology and human health.
Right now, I’m exploring everything that connects biotechnology with space medicine : - molecular biology, genetic engineering, DNA damage and repair, astronaut health and the microbiome.
Curious about how the human body responds beyond Earth, and how we can use Biotechnology to protect and support life in space also on Earth.
I may not have much experience yet, but I’m genuinely excited to learn, grow, and contribute wherever I can. Being part of this community is an important step for me . I hope it will help me build a strong foundation early on, work toward my goals, and eventually make a meaningful impact.
Looking forward to learning and growing with you all!

Happy to collaborate, learn, and build impactful solutions together!
Hello, my name is Gustavo Valencia, I am a science teacher at a rural school in Peru. I teach biology, chemistry, elementary physics and mathematics for students of the secondary level. I have no specializations, nor am I in postgraduate programs; What I have a great curiosity to learn and I am passionate about the development of science in all its branches. I think that if I am in a place like this I could learn a lot from other people and this knowledge adapt them to my class and improve my teaching practice.
I observe a flow of surprising information, an immense amount of topics and investigations that I had not seen before. I am a firm believer of citizen science, that incredible interaction between ordinary people and scientists, I consider myself a common person with great desires to learn and help in everything I can.
Thanks for hosting me in this great community.
Best wishes from Casma, Peru.

Hello, I would like to introduce myself. I am Hendrik Linnen. I am a Junior at Campolindo High School in Moraga CA. I am the president of the BIO Club at my school and I would like to find a project where my club and I can join and learn. I tried the Microbes Working Group but couldn’t figure out what to do. I appreciate the help!
I’ve just joined up and am in the finding my feet stage in the microbiology and multiomics AWGs. As you know I’m interested in RA and compliance management too, so I’d love to get involved in relevant projects!
Quick about me for anyone interested:
Undergraduate degree in Biotechnology
Honours in Science (virology and mammalian infection models)
(Most of a) PhD in molecular microbiology (16s rRNA metagenomics and bioinformatics)
My main areaa of interest is infectious diseases and molecular biology, but I’m also really passionate about robust experimental design, risk assessment and science communication - so everyone in this thread are sounding like absolute superstars so far!
