Make sure to spend time looking at all the data and tools to come up with new investigations. Looking at previous studies is quite useful too.

@jannathulfarzana you posted in the Brain AWG category, which is the right instinct. Search the portal for brain, retina, and CNS tissue from the rodent missions and see what assays exist, then read the papers that used them. Behavioral and cognitive data are thinner than omics in OSDR, so a psych background looking at that gap is useful. The Brain AWG meets monthly, see the calendar (log in first).
@Bea31 mining sector plus microbes plus plants points straight at the new Regolith AWG, alongside Plant. Biomining, bioleaching, and growing crops in lunar and Martian simulant are all live questions there. Browse the microbial and plant datasets on the dashboard and come to the Plant and Regolith monthly meetings with what you find. The best guidance here comes from picking a dataset and working it, then asking specific questions at the meeting.
Both of you, look through the master table of open subgroup projects. If something fits, say so in that thread. If you have your own idea, propose it there too.
