I’m sorry, but I live in GMT+8 and it’s nearly midnight already. Could you please send me meeting notes afterwards? If you need an introduction from me: My name is E.V. and I’m a high school student, living in Brunei who is looking to help with as many biological research projects as possible.
If you need me to attend, I could possibly drop in for 15 minutes but it would be 3am for me.
oh my no one should ever stay up until 3am for a meeting! Please send me an email windymc@stanford.edu so I can add you to the shared drive. Would love to hear more about your experience and interests so we can see which sub project you could join.
This meeting will feature Drs Mhatre and Iyer who will provide an overview of the Drosophila model. The datasets available through the OSDR afford us a unique opportunity to interrogate the question of aging or accelerated AD risk from a whole-organismal perspective. Thank you both Janani and Siddhita for introducing the model to our group.

Synthetic Mitochondria? www.MitoWorld.org has been given press credentials to attend the SymBioBeta Conference, the largest gathering of people doing or exploring synthetic biology. Anyone going? I have been asking, is anyone working on synthetic mitochondria, or components, delivery mechanisms into mitochondria or alterations to mtDNA or nDNA controlling mitochondria? I will be posting on LinkedIn from the conference. Send me questions to ask or respond to this post. LINK
I’m reaching out to express my interest in the Alzheimer’s Disease and Brain Resilience Working Group. I just watched your presentation at the AWG Catalyst Summit last month and found it interesting.
My background combines biology and data science, with experience in Omics analysis, neurodegenerative disease data, and open-source R development. I’d be glad to contribute to any ongoing efforts or help shape new initiatives where my skills could be of value.
Please let me know how I might best support the group. I’d be very happy to join any upcoming meetings or discussions.
Thanks for reaching out and for your interest! You just mist our meeting for the month but would be great to have you come to future meetings. Please email me at windymc@stanford.edu so we can get things set up. Looking forward to meeting with you!
Sorry I could not sent it while I was in the meeting but I think you were able to join. I just readied you to the outlook invitation so hopefully you have it in your calendar for next time.
Our next ADBR meeting is coming up soon on July 14th at 12:15 Pacific Time! If you don’t have the link, check the forum calendar or email me separately. AWG Discussions > Multi-omics AWG Topics
