I just joined the OSDR today and would love to get involved in neuroscience research if possible. I will be applying for a psychiatry residency this year and intend to pursue a neuropsychiatry fellowship in the future, which would include topics like neurodegeneration.
Fantastic - thanks for joining the AWGs!
@windymc and the sub-group just held their bi-weekly meeting Monday, but will say Windy is amazing, and will get you tied in soon.
Cheers
Thanks Ryan for the recommendation! Would love to meet you and talk over our subgroup, please reach out!
Welcome, and good luck with the residency apps!
Welcomeee!!!
Hi @windymc,
I’m Ishwari Shindekar, a biotech undergrad with a growing interest in neurodegeneration and the intersection of space and disease biology. The ADBR AWG’s focus deeply resonates with me, and I’d love to get involved and contribute where I can. Could I please get access to the group and the upcoming meetings?

Hi Windy!
I hope there are still opportunities for volunteers with this project? I’m a high school student so I don’t have much expertise, but I can code in Python and if you need any low-level data analysis done, I’m available whenever. Please let me know what I can do to help!
Thanks for reaching out! If you can make it to the 12:15 meeting today it would be great if you would introduce yourself to the group and then we can go from there.
