Hydrocephalus Subgroup AWG

Hi everyone!

Introducing the hydrocephalus subgroup as part of the brain AWG - we’ve been exploring the molecular dynamics driving ventricular expansion in microgravity (think SANS, but just the structural effects on the brain), and its relations both to elevated intracranial pressure and normal pressure hydrocephalus.

We’ve used data from organoids and brain tissue samples and are currently in the process of writing up the manuscript and refining clinical implications and analysis pipelines. We’ve been having 1-on-1 meetings for the interim, but will be scheduling group meetings again soon. You can see our poster below.

Questions? Suggestions? Interested in joining? Please email srajeev@arizona.edu - thank you!
