SPOKE Update + Slide

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share the slide from today along with a brief summary of what I discussed.

We’ve seen how projecting animal transcriptomic signatures into the SPOKE human knowledge graph can generate non-obvious cross-species phenotype associations. What was especially interesting is that this signal emerged in an agnostic way through the network structure, rather than through an obvious tissue connection.

This really highlights the potential power of integrating OSDR datasets into SPOKE. While the portal infrastructure is already built, many datasets haven’t yet been deeply explored through this framework.

There’s a real opportunity here to dig into available datasets, project signatures into SPOKE, and see what human-level phenotypic associations emerge, especially those that may not be intuitive from the tissue context alone.

If you’re interested in exploring datasets, transcriptomic integration, or network-based phenotype discovery, I’d love to connect. I’m really excited to meet more of you and collaborate, thank you!
