Dear all,

As the chairperson of the ‘Space Biology, Health, and Astrobiology’ session, I would like to invite AWG members to register for the 9th Space Resources Conference organized by the Faculty of Space Technologies, AGH University of Science and Technology, September 3-4, 2026, Krakow, Poland.

This year, the session is titled ‘Space Biology, Health, and Astrobiology,’ which encompasses the broad range of topics covered in Life Sciences in Space.

Furthermore, the fee has been waived. When registering, select ‘participant universeh member’ with abstract and provide your affiliation, and you will receive a fee discount.

Session Description:

Space Biology, Health, and Astrobiology

Chairperson: Agata Rudolf

This session explores life in space, from biological adaptation and human health in extreme environments to astrobiology, planetary habitability, and biosignatures. We welcome experimental, theoretical, and applied research addressing the effects of microgravity and radiation, evolution under space conditions, and the search for life beyond Earth.

Regarding this event, we are a small but well-established conference covering a diverse range of space-related topics. Two years ago, our invited speaker was @fumimuratani and @alexa.sadier participated remotely, but I encourage you to visit us in Krakow and take this opportunity to see our Space Biology Lab.
